• This project was hosted on WooCommerce, where all markets the brand participates in were managed from a single backend with a unified website for different regions.


    The first initiative was to improve Capittana's WooCommerce web design. The main challenge was the site's limited capacity to handle large volumes of visitors during launches, causing the website to go offline for several minutes.

The Shopify Journey

The first step for Capittana's migration to Shopify involved exploring the separation of key markets into different websites. Geolocation became the most crucial factor in ensuring efficient redirection for each of the pages and products across the different platforms.

Capittana currently operates in three distinct markets and now manages two separate Shopify websites to cater to these regions effectively.

Capittana's Shopify theme is fully customized. Initially, the goal was to replicate and enhance the previous WordPress website. However, the improvements and changes made were highly significant, resulting in a superior version.

The work at Capittana truly took off when the two Shopify websites were launched.
My team began focusing on key aspects like SEO positioning, branding for international growth, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) in collaboration with digital marketing, and refining digital customer service. This comprehensive overhaul marked a 360-degree transformation for the e-commerce channel, leading to enhanced operational efficiency and growth.

The dropshipping magic

  • Coming to solid websites and after a great team effort, we achieved greater visibility, unlocking more opportunities for digital sales. As our domestic e-commerce was growing, we also explored how we could expand on internationally recognized retail sites. Under my leadership, the dropshipping strategy expanded and developed into a significant sales channel for the brand.
